Best philly cheese I've had yet. I think it's family owned. I love the place. Finally found the perfect place to eat in 'Minnesota.

This is very casual dining atmosphere but Dominick's offers tasty comfort food at reasonable prices. If you are a fan of Philly Cheesesteaks then you must stop by to try out arguably the best in the Twin Cities metro area. Everything about it is great - the bread, meat, and fresh veggies make for a great combination. Their pizza and gyros are also very good. The actual restaurant is very small so you might be better offer ordering takeout or delivery.

Wanna talk Hockey and eat a Filthy good Cheesesteak? Go here. Wanna talk basketball, sneakers, rap music and eat hotdogs? Don't go here. The Philly here is sick. Wonderful toasted bread and this Philly isn't dry....it's perfect juicy, full flavor and will leave your taste buds doing high fives.

As a foodie and lover of Philly's, my followers, family, friends and colleagues know that I'm always on the hunt for the best. I had a lot of people tell me that Dominick's served the very best so it was a must that I try it out. I wasn't completely convinced that their Philly was worth eating after seeing some pictures (including on their own website) of a Philly that looked like it was simply a large hoagie with some dried out roast beef and cheese on the inside. They need to change the picture, because their Philly is actually pretty darn good and worth stopping in to try, but not the top pick (Top pick(s) are T.O.P.S. in Rosemount and O'Malley's in Woodbury). I guess my next visit might have to be checking out the pizza!

Fantastic Philly cheese steak! The bread was terrific. Can't wait to go back and try the pizza and gyros sometime.

Everyone seems to really like this place, but they only have like one vegetarian option, and it's some plain cheese thing, and I didn't dig it. It was bland and greasy and I was not impressed. Everyone else I know seems to like it though, but I am personally not a fan because of my personal experience and the fact that I am a vegetarian. I would have given it a two, but I don't think I need to drop their overall rating just because they can't accommodate vegetarians.

Dominick's serves ample portions of solid comfort food at modest prices prepared by friendly folks in a no frills greasy spoon next to a gas station. What's not to like? The loaded Philly Cheese steak (to which I added jalapenos for an extra fifty cents) is cheaper and better than those served by some big named chain restaurants. For me the 6" was more than enough food and a real bargain at $5.00 (or $4.50 without the jalapenos). Add fries (which can be ordered with a side of seasoned dipping sauce) for an added $2.00. Or try the tasty Gyros which are piled high atop a grilled pita. Seating is limited. Prepare for takeout at prime lunch hour as free tables can be scarce.

Pizzas and sandwiches are fantastic. Call ahead to have your order ready right away. White sauce pizza is good, the buffalo chicken pizza is good as well but odd. Uses chucks of chicken.

This place is absolutely fabulous. I had really never been a fan of Philly cheese steaks before, but Dominick's cheese steak sandwiches are just to die for. The price is right, the people are uber friendly, and the food is amazing! The calzones, fries, cheesy garlic bread and cheese curds are both bountiful and delicious...all made to order. My favorite place for all things bad for me!

Dominick's is just amazing, the guys behind the counter are awesome which is probably what stands out most, they'll joke with you, and really get to know you if it's slow. The place is a hole in the wall so don't expect anything fancy going in, but that's one of the reasons this place is so awesome!! The Philly Cheesesteaks are amazing, the gyros are delicious, I've only had the pizza once but it was pretty damn good. I haven't had something from here that I haven't liked oh and the cheese curds are freakin amazing too!!!

Awesome. My buddy that I work with moved here from Philly four years ago, and he has been claiming for months that this place makes the best Philly Cheese Steaks in the metro. Most of the time this guy is totally hatin' on the Twin Cities, so it was surprising to hear him with something positive to say. Today I tagged along to see what all the hype was about. Holy crap. These things are the bees knees. I wouldn't call myself a cheese steak connoisseur. I dont know how these compare to Gino's or whatever that other place was on Food Wars. I don't know what kind of cheese they use (some kind of cheese sauce) but I also don't care. These things are delicious. Forget the overanaylizing. This is fast cheap comfort food done right. The bread is awesome. The guys behind the counter obviously knew my buddy and gave him crap the whole time we were there about the Phillies. Also awesome. Grading on a curve, this place is four stars fo sho. This may not be the place you want to bring the lady friend though. Aside from three hockey posters on the wall there is nothing else in the way of ambiance, and it is kind of in the middle of no where. That being said, I don't know when I'll be back in this area, and I'm coming back tomorrow.

Absolutely the best New York style pizza in the Twin Cities, according to my husband, who is from New Jersey, and who has spent the past 20 years looking for good pizza here. Little hole-in-the-wall joint next to a gas station and a liquor store.

I'm glad we finally tried Dominick's Pizza. We've had it twice in the last month and we were not disappointed either time. The 1st time we ordered two 14" pizza's - (that's a lot pizza) - One sausage and One Pepperoni with Jalapeno's. The pizza is New York Style and all of the ingredients on our pizzas were perfectly balanced, and the flavor's down to the crust seem to meld perfectly. The 2nd time, we ordered just One 14" Pepperoni pizza, but added a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. Again, the pizza was just like the 1st time...very tasty and filling. The Philly, WOW!!! I have to say, it was AWESOME! I am glad I don't have to go far for this sandwich, but I think I would drive cross-town for one of these bad boys. Dominick's is now our "go-to" pizza place. Looking foward to our next pizza night.

The Philly Cheese Steak is Good. The Bread was not the same as the last 15 or so time's I have Munched them Down, Not, sure what is up with that?-maybe their Bread order was late that week or the Bakery Closed that they use? Still a Good Philly but not like the Last 15 or So..

Cheesesteaks here are the real deal. I keep trying to find a good cheese steak in the twin cities but they are few and far between. Coming from Philly I guess I am a little picky, but I know that I will be returning to Dominick's for another. Very excited to try the pizza too.

I have to give this pizza joint 3 starts but I want to give them 2. Why? I've had their Pizza 3 times and 2 of the times it's just been, well, not so stellar. Why? Zero flavor in the red sauce Super droopy soggy crust (pet peeve) Floating geese on top of the pizza. On second thought, 2 is good enough. I've definitely had better. The owners are very nice people, it's just that, well, the first time I ate here the pizza was soooo good. I was impressed! The next 2 times after, well, not so well. We have some friends that love this place but I think they get more of the white sauce pizzas and I haven't tried those, so definitely do. ...bummer, giving 2 stars really bums me out but well, if I ever have the pizza again AND its good, I'll change my rating.

Fantastic Philly cheese steak sandwiches made with real cheese (no cheese sauce)! Yummy! They're my new crave! Everything is made fresh and the prices are reasonable. This place was recently taken over by new owners who reformulated the pizzas and they are delicious! Dominick's is a little out of the way for some but worth the trip!

Place is a whole in the wall. They Pizza is just okay, but everything else is stellar. Try the Philly Cheese Steak. One of the best I have ever had. It is served in the big italian hogie. The cheese just melts in your mouth. Also, try the stromboli. It is amazing. Owners are super friendly, but I seem to get a different price every time. Very strange.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
